How do you name someone to make health care decisions for you when you can’t on your own? Those situations can happen unexpectedly (due to a sudden medical condition or accident) or on a schedule (surgery). The Health Care Power of Attorney in South Carolina is a statutory form that enables another person to help you in those situations. The form is pretty self explanatory – it has been designed for non lawyers to use.  However, if you have any questions, it is a good idea to call your lawyer for guidance, to make sure it is filled out correctly.
